Jobs...

I start my new job today! I am going to be a Nannie for 2 little girls I am feeling
1. nervous
2. excited
3. stressed
4. tired
5. mixed emotions

Let me explain- nervous because I am not sure what is in store, I am scared to drive down there in the Winter with bad roads, excited because I can finally have a schedule and make money to help out, stressed because we need LOTS of money with the holidays coming so we have to save most of it, tired because I am used to sleeping in every morning and being lazy... hahaha and mixed because there are other emotions that I am not sure what they are but I am sure its going to work out good!  But I am excited to finally start on a schedule, Work, clean house, dinner, work out, bed (switch work out some nights for the temple and you have my schedule pretty much!)

Oh and our apartment is having a window decorating contest and if you win you get money! And we want money so we need some good ideas so that we can win! If you have any please let me know- get the creative juices flowing!

Wish me luck-I let you know how it goes! :)

Jellystone!

Kyron came up this weekend to spend some time with us.  Friday night we went to the Haunted Mill with all our friends and then Saturday all day we went to Yellowstone with Brian and Kelsey.  it was so fun!  We went to Jackson Wy. which is fun all in its self! we ate at Mountain High Pizza, went though the shops, took pictures and then headed to yellowstone.  Brian is the best person to travel with because he knows everything about anything...

It turned out to be a pretty nice day, windy but nice!
we even got up close and personal with some deer and buffalo!
It turned out to be a pretty fun day!  I love when Matt doesn't work :) Can't wait till we get to go again!!

Klub Karaoke

On Saturday we went to klub karaoke with some friends, and it was a blast!  We haven't done to many random/ fun things in a while and it was so fun to get out of the house and do something fun!
The whole up stairs was a dance party except no one was up there except us.. hahaha

Waiting for our turn to sing some karaoke!

Sorry the lighting looks like crap but there was fog and lights and they just don't make for a good picture!
There was a surprise birthday party for a girl that just turned 1... they didn't think that there would be a lot of people on a Saturday night (yeah really? they booked a party on a Saturday night because they thought no one would be there.... hum) Well since the party was going on down stairs they took us up stairs to sing up there and since they felt bad we all got free gift cards to come back again!!

We had so much fun dancing, singing, and just being goofy!! :)
Sunday night was Lindsays birthday and we had dinner over at our friends house, so we made a treat platter that is all about the presentation ( we have been watching a lot of the food channel and its all about the presentation!)
Jessi even made us an amazing dinner cooked inside a pumpkin! I had no idea you could even do that!

sounds like life...

I heard this song and it made me laugh because of the last post... sounds like life to me!  I just gotta suck it up :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Geg6_-3jPzI
enjoy! Cause that's life!

grrrrrrrr

Seriously its one thing after another it seems like... let me explain: So we got our  power bill the other day and it was for 150 bucks- really?! we talked to some of our friends that live here and they said that the most they have ever paid for electricity and for gas was around 40 bucks and that was in the dead of winter!  So Matt called the company to have someone come and look at our meter and they sent a guy over this morning (super early- like I was still dead asleep, and he woke me up :( rudy!) And he said he did all these tests and it show up fine.  But the strangest part is for the month of September we only used 13KWH which means we only have to pay like 7 bucks for the whole month but for the month of August we used 630 KWH and have to pay like 60 bucks- now this is the part that get me!  Remember how we were married in Aug. so we were not here the first week because of our honeymoon?  and the next week we were in Inkom cause of the second reception? and then 2 days after that were were in St. George for a week? and then back to Inkom for our friends wedding for a couple days?  Now I am not math genius but something here doesn't add up... how can we use 630KWH in a month that we were here for maybe 2 weeks of the entire month?!  So my conclusion is either... 1. the guy who checked out our meter needs to go back to the mountains where he belongs (seriously he was a full on mountain man!) or 2.  There was a Bum living in our house and BLASTING our AC unit and leaving all the lights, stove, washer, dryer, fans, and what ever else he could on while we were not here.  I personally believe there was a Bum because that is the only thing I can think of that would explain why we are paying so much... any suggestions?! We are broke anyway and would not be able to pay that high of a bill every month.  I guess we will just do what Matt says "Lots of blankets!" Yay! So if you don't see or hear from me feel free to come check on me because I might be frozen in place...
Picture of a Homeless Man Picking through a Garbage Can

Well now you are most likely saying to yourself "how can she be frozen its only October" well let me remind you my friends... We live in Rexburg  and as of yesterday we already have enough snow that you could play in it.  Yup dead serious for some reason mother nature decided we didn't need a fall this year and to skip right to winter.  And if any of you know my husband that well you know that he is NEVER cold... we sleep with the windows open and a fan on him.  While he is here its not so bad because he is my little heater but when he leaves for work in the morning I freeze and it takes me forever to get back warm again :(
( I didn't have pictures of the snow yesterday so I googled "snow in Rexburg" and this came up the funny thing is this is where we really live! haha but if you want to see up to date pictures here is a link to my friends blog that took some yesterday...http://travisandlindsaysimmons.blogspot.com/ Thanks Lindsay!)

Another thing snow brings is bad roads, fogged/ frozen windshields, and for Rexburg red sand everywhere (its supposed to work as a ice melt or something but it is so nasty and it ruins all your clothes!)  And I hate hate hate driving in the snow it scares me sooo bad!  But Matt is so good to me and lets me take his nice car with new all season tiers and heat to drive while he takes george to work... he is sooo good to me! :)

This just scares the heck out of me! Good thing Matt is a professional driver! :)

So besides freezing all the time (which I can't complain to much cause I did choose to live here...)  and having no money to pay for stupid bills, and being pregnant... hahah just kidding I was just seeing if you were paying attention or not. hehehe Life is not to bad.  I start my Nannie job in 2 weeks and am excited for the holidays to be here! :) So just keep us in your prayers or stop by to visit whenever, because we would love to have you here- we even have a nice futon you could sleep on :) Keep the faith!

Conference Weekend!

On our way down to conference we stopped in Inkom to have a party with Matts family and to sleep over.  Matts mom made us a really nice birthday breakfast and then we headed down to my house to get ready for his mission reunion
 Matt and Bella :)
It was Matts and mine first time going to a mission reunion- he had fun meeting up with old companions and mission presidents. It was fun to see him catch up on old times but that's all about I did... haha
We got tickets to the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning session :) We even had pretty good seats :)

conference was soo amazing, prophets seriously know what they are talking about!  What a blessing it was to listen to them and get answers to our questions! :) I love this gospel!!
Sunday night we had Matts second birthday party with my family! :)

We also took some family pictures that turned out sooo cute!  check out Chelsi Mae Photo on facebook to see them! :)
Yes Jillisa does have a tazor... haha
