Matts 31st birthday

Matts birthday this year was pretty low key, mostly because it was on a Sunday and staying home and being lazy is one of his favorite things! haha We went to church had cake and ice cream with some friends and watched a movie!  We sure love this birthday boy!! 

OP Fall Festival

Overland Park doesn't do a 4th of July parade but they do a fall festival parade and it was even better then any 4th of July parade we have been to while living here! I'm bummed we just learned what it was so we couldn't go every year we were here! Our friends joined us during the parade and all the kids made out with a TON of candy, toys, and lots of different political stickers! haha We walked around the booths afterwards and enjoyed the day with friends! 

Zoo Trip

It had been a while since we went to the zoo!  On our way down my friend messaged and said that it was $4 zoo day so they came and met up with us later!  It was such a fun day, good weather, good friends, great place to be!  We even got to ride all the rides, and see all the animals!
