Federal Reserve

Growing up vacation was really never a "vacation" it was more "fit everything we can into a few days so we see all the sites" So when my parents came we had a detailed list of everything we wanted to do and see- some of which were new to Babe and I!  

The Federal Reserve was on of those!  They had a pretty fun interactive money museum for kids (and adults) And it was not busy so we let Jenson kind of run free!  Not to mention it was free- nothing like free, am I right? 

They also have a little computer where you can take a survey of the museum and get tickets and coupons for other places!  We got some buy 1 get 1 tickets to the WW1 Museum for the next day!  Win Win! 

 For dinner that night we had to go to our favorite BBQ joint- Kansas City Joes (Oklahoma Joes), as always it didn't disappoint! 

When family comes to town!

My parents and Kyron came to visit during Spring break!  I live for visitors, and having my family here was seriously the best! I love showing off where we live! 

 The first night they were here we hit up 1/2 of 1/2 (and almost every night after! haha) 

 There is a reason Jenson loves Uncle Kyron, he set him up a giant slide with all the air mattress!  He sure had a blast! 

Matt also did the "impossible" star wars puzzle for Luke.  We ended up taping the back it so that no one would have to do that again! haha Dad also made popcorn almost every night while we watched movies!  We had busy days, and lazy nights!! 

As of late

The weather is changing, we can finally go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather! We went on our first bike ride of the season, and despite Jenson's face he really did love it! 

 Morning with my little dude are my favorite, watch cartoons and cuddling! 

Matt and I also snuck away for a Red Robin date night! Thank you gift cards!! 

Jenson, the little brother!

We had the chance to watch some of our friends boys while they were on a amazing vacation in London! They have 4 boys, their youngest boy Drew was Jenson's BEST friend.  They seriously had the cutest relationship!  I didn't think he would ever let him leave for school! 

 ^^ I'm not sure how he did this but it sure made for a funny morning! ^^

 ^^ I tell you, Drew and Jenson were so cute together.  Drew could get him to do thing he had never done before!  ^^

 Jenson had some major withdrawals when their parents came home and he didn't have 4 older "brothers" to play with anymore! 

Valentines Day!

Valentines day was pretty low key this year.  We attempted to take cute pictures.. but this is real life with a toddler!

I don't get flowers very often but I do get them on Valentines day and our Anniversary!  <3 nbsp="" p="">

like father like son

Ever since Jenson was little he refused to cuddle- and getting him to fall asleep on you? Forget it, it's not happening!   Well he must be coming down with something because he has been so out of it and only wants to cuddle with his daddy!  Today they even fell asleep cuddling, and then my heart burst!  Oh how I loves these two with all my heart! 

Jenson turns 2!

We had a pretty low key party for Jenson this year.  We celebrated all weekend long- all things Mickey Mouse!  We had some friends over for cake and ice cream- clearly his favorite part!  

 I also made his birthday shirt this year! :) 

^^ and seriously? how cute is his little mini me Lindsay made for him?! ^^

 My sweet mom sent us all this Mickey stuff because she knows how much I wish family could be there, I know they wanted to be here too! 

Happy birthday to the boy who can test my limits the most, and yet who makes my heart melt the next!  You are crazy active, love to read, LOVE elephants or "D" as you call them, loves sweets, being outside, and your best friend Hailey.  We love you more then anything, I can hardly believe you are already two!!
