This is our last year celebrating the 4th in Kansas, oh how we love our traditions here! This year we also did something new and went to the Independence visitor center for some fireworks on the 3rd. They were so fun, it was fun being in a family friendly place too with lots of missionaries walking around haha.
On the 4th we went to our traditional Lenexa parade!
We got a lot of cards and hand outs during the parade but this was the best one.. haha I'm set now!
We had a BBQ later with friends, then went to their ward party and enjoyed some fireworks and some pond swimming!
Jenson started screaming "LOBSER LOBSER!!!" and jumping out of the pond haha a little crawdad was on his life jacket and it was seriously the funniest thing!
